My ADHD diagnosis just does not seem complete.

Maybe (perhaps maybe) it is a bit of autism, too.

I have some mild storytelling to weave in to this article (the mask-off kind), but let’s kick off with a fact.

Did you know that, until recently-ish (2013) clinicians basically were forced to choose between one diagnosis or the other, Autism or ADHD.

The concept of a co-occurrence within one human being was just not humored.

“Well, Rebecca, looks like your inability to make eye contact with other humans and tendency to be socially awkward as fuck is fo sho more autism-like, but well, you task switch like you’re on drugs and even gun to your head, couldn’t get your laundry put away the same day you re-wash that shit, so yeah… we’re going to go ahead and say ADHD. Enjoy.”
